Pre-Baptism Classes will be offered at Mary Star of the Sea Parish. Baptism classes will be held in English on every Second Tuesday of the month, and in Spanish on every last Thursday of the month. Classes will be in the Church at 6:30 PM. Please call Michelle Downes at (310) 833-3541 ext. 200 for more information. Signups are taken over the phone or in person, but not required. Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church, and made sharers in her mission: Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.
